Why Best in Play

Tabletop expertise is useful. Connected tabletop expertise is more valuable.

Our team spans game design, publishing, licensing, manufacturing, retail, business development, creative services, and company leadership. That lets us see opportunities from multiple sides and connect the people, products, and relationships needed to move them forward.

Industry-specific

Our work is focused on tabletop, with relationships and operating experience across the category.

Opportunity-driven

We look for the right commercial fit, not simply the next available transaction.

Flexible by design

Engage us for representation, development, sourcing, consulting, or embedded leadership.

Everything connects.

The value of Best in Play is not just the individual services. It is what happens when one relationship unlocks another.

Publishers + IP

Give an existing game a new audience.

We can identify brands that fit proven systems, then help build the relationship around the opportunity.

Designers + IP

Turn the right prototype into a licensed product.

A strong game does not need to begin with a license to become exactly what an IP holder needs.

IP + Publishers

Find the company that can execute.

We help rights holders identify publishers whose capabilities, channels, and product instincts match the property.

Companies + Talent

Fill the capability gap.

When the missing piece is a designer, artist, consultant, or executive, our network can become part of the solution.

Ways to work with us

Best in Play can represent an opportunity, source the missing piece, develop the product, advise the team, or temporarily become part of it.

For Publishers

Original games and development support.

New concepts, pitch-ready prototypes, rules refinement, product tuning, and development help for existing titles.

For Licensors

Tabletop extensions that honor the IP.

Games that create new ways for fans to engage with beloved characters, worlds, stories, and brands.

For Brands & Agencies

Custom play experiences with purpose.

Promotional products, campaign-driven concepts, experiential play, and strategic extensions beyond traditional merchandise.

A practical path from need to opportunity.

Whether the starting point is an IP, a game, a hiring need, or a strategic challenge, we begin by defining the gap and finding the best way to close it.
